Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago sign Air Services Agreement
ACCRA, Ghana (NPA) — Ghana and Trinidad and Tobago have signed an Air Services Agreement aimed at strengthening air connectivity and creating new opportunities for cooperation between the West African and Caribbean nations.
Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama announced the agreement in a statement on Friday following a meeting with Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, S.C., in New York.
Mahama said the agreement would strengthen air connectivity and create new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
“We signed an Air Services Agreement between Ghana and Trinidad and Tobago. This agreement strengthens air connectivity and creates new opportunities for cooperation between our countries,” he said.
The two leaders also discussed the reparations agenda, trade and investment, according to Mahama.
