BREAKING: Multiple crash involving truck, three vehicles causes traffic build-up at Ojuelegba

LAGOS, Nigeria (NPA) — The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has reported a multiple road crash involving a Fuso truck loaded with beer, a Lexus Jeep, a Hyundai Jeep and a motorcycle at Abalti Barracks inward Ojuelegba in the early hours of Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

The agency said the crash resulted in the contents of the truck spilling onto the roadway, but no casualty was recorded.

LASTMA said its personnel were on the ground managing the situation, while officers of the Nigeria Police were also present at the scene.

Officials of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) were clearing broken bottles and other debris from the roadway as clearance operations continued.

The agency advised motorists to exercise caution when approaching the Ojuelegba axis or use alternative routes, as traffic congestion had built up in the area.

LASTMA urged all road users to drive carefully and cooperate with traffic management personnel while the affected roadway is being cleared.
