BREAKING: Iran-Backed Houthis Escalate War as Israel Downs Drone Attack on Eilat

MIDDLE EAST, April 6, 2026 (NPA) — The conflict in the Middle East has intensified as the Iran-backed Houthis movement launches drones aimed at southern Israel.
According to Israeli military officials, Israel’s air defense systems intercepted and shot down multiple Houthi drones attempting to strike the port city of Eilat.
