CAF President Patrice Motsepe mourns ex-Super Eagles Forward Michael Eneramo

CAIRO, Egypt (NPA) — President of the Confédération Africaine de Football, Dr Patrice Motsepe, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Nigeria international, Michael Eneramo.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Dr Motsepe, on behalf of CAF and its 54 Member Associations, extended heartfelt condolences to the Nigeria Football Federation, its President, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, the family of the deceased, and the people of Nigeria.
Eneramo, who earned international recognition during his career, featured for clubs including Lobi Stars, Espérance Sportive de Tunis, and Beşiktaş J.K.
CAF described his death as a significant loss to African football and honoured his contributions to the game across the continent.
“May his soul rest in peace,” the statement concluded.
