BREAKING: NYSC announces Nov. 4 commencement of 2026 Batch C Stream II orientation

ABUJA, Nigeria (NPA) — The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, as the commencement date for the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Orientation Course.
According to a statement issued on Friday by Caroline Embu, NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, the exercise will be conducted across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
The statement said registration of corps members would take place from Wednesday, Nov. 4, to midnight of Friday, Nov. 6, 2026.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, while the orientation course is expected to end with a closing ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2026.
The NYSC urged prospective corps members to take note of the dates and make the necessary preparations for the exercise.
